It is Mother’s Day, which means it’s the annual event I like to think of as the Ladies’ Ritual Exchange of Plants. Here’s what I brought today –

I have no idea what they are, but I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them at Farmer’s Daughter.

We totally shopped in the rain yesterday – it started just as we pulled in, and it stopped when we got back into the car – silly weather xD We also picked up catnip for the garden where Sal was laid to rest.

Next week I need to go back to pick up cucumber plants – it’s been too cold for too long to start our own seeds in the ground here, so it’s seedlings for us. Jaquelyn and I are determined to make pickles this summer =)
