I got busy with the foam and the masking tape this evening, and we have a head!

As you can see, there’s still a LOT of work to be done on the costume. I need to make the suit itself, for one thing. And for another, the head still needs to be draped in the funfur, and adjustments have to be made as well.

My biggest hitch, I think, will be putting this thing together so that Our Small Person can wear it and still see. Seeing is important!

Also, I need some big teddy bear eyes. And a nose. But Will swears he can carve us a nose from balsa once he knows how big it needs to be.
